THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH swt. "La ILAHA ILLAH"

LETTER NO.3

Bismillah hir Rahman nir Raheem(In the name of ALLAH, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful).
May the Peace and Blessings of ALLAH be upon the Imaam of all Prophets, Imaam of the Ummah, Imaam of Mujahideen, our Holy Prophet-Muhammad (saws), and on those who follow his (saws) guidance till the Day of Judgement.

FROM:- ABU HAFS
TO      :- MY DEAR BROTHERS AND SISTERS

ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATAHU

Alhamdulillah, this is my 3rd letter of the series. I hope that you have been benefited from my previous 2 letters. In this letter we will be throwing some light on the main pillar of  ISLAM, which is  ‘La Ilaha illALLAH’ (None has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH).

LA ILAHA ILLAH :- This is the first confession of a muslim, and it means “None has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH”.

When we say ‘La’-‘None’, then we deny all gods and everything is gone. Nothing is left.
When we say ‘But ALLAH’ then it is only and only ALLAH.

Just to say that  No one is worthy of worship is not enough but we have to follow it by our practices. Only ALLAH is worthy of worship, so to save ourselves from any sort of SHIRK(associating partners to ALLAH) we must know how many forms of worship are.

Here I will be giving just the names of  the forms of worship and in the coming letters InshaALLAH I will have a separate topic on forms of worship with proofs from QUR’AN and HADEETH.

ALLAH is the only one whom we must worship and the forms of it are:
Supplication, Fear, Hoping, Trust, Desire, Veneration, Repentance, Seeking ALLAH’s support, Seeking ALLAH’s Protection, Asking for Aid, Sacrificing animals, Vow.

The difference between a Muslim and a non-Muslim is ‘La ilaha illALLAH’.
ALLAH says:
“ALLAH bears witness that la ilaha illa huwa( none has the right to be worshipped by the), and the angels, and those having knowledge(also give this witness);(HE is always maintaining HIS creation in Justice. La ilaha illa huwa, the ALL-MIGHTY, the ALL- WISE.”
(surah-3, verse-18)

“And WE did not send any Messenger before you (O Muhammad(saws)) but WE inspired him(saying): la ilaha illa ana[None has the right to be worshipped but I(ALLAH)], so worship ME(alone and no one else)
(surah-21, verse-25)

Narrated Uthman(raa) that the Prophet(saws) said:
“One who dies in a state where he is aware of the fact that ‘None has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH’, he shall be admitted to Paradise.”
(Saheeh Muslim)

Narrated Tariq bin Ashyam Al-Ashja’i(raa) that the Prophet(saws) said:
“Whoever accepts the Oneness of  ALLAH and disbelieves whatever is worshipped other than ALLAH, enjoys the protection of ALLAH in his wealth, blood and his reward is with ALLAH.”
(Saheeh Muslim)

There are a lot of such verses and ahadeeth about our topic ‘la ilaha illALLAH’.
Now we must our self decide whether or not we truly believe from our heart that “None has the right to be worshipped but ALLAH”. If we believe then we must direct each and every act of worship to ALLAH alone.

In a hadeeth the Prophet(saws) said that the best remembrance is—‘la ilaha illALLAH ‘.
I hope you all find this to be useful for your faith and belief.
May ALLAH guide all of us to the straight path, aameen.

NOTE:- To perform any kind of worship specially on the 27th of Rajab and thinking it to be the Night of Mairaj is “BID’AH”( Innovation). As it is not proved by any source, infact there is no authentic report to support such claim, and, moreover neither our Prophet(saws) told us to do anything special on that day nor did the sahaba(companions of Prophet(saws).
Even if we agree this night to be the Night of Mairaj(but it is not), the Prophet(saws) never did do any sort of worship specially on it nor did his sahaba. When our Prophet (saws)did not do it nor his sahaba then we must never do it as it is BID’AH.

Narrated Ayesha(raa) that the Messenger of ALLAH(saws) said:
“Whoever has done an act which is not in the religion that deed is rejected by ALLAH.”
 Saheeh-(Bukhari and Muslim)

Narrated Irbaadh bin Saaria(raa) that the Messenger of ALLAH(saws) said:
“Save yourself from introducing anything new in the religion, because every innovation will make you go astray.”
Saheeh-(Ibn-e-Majah)

May ALLAH guide all of us to the TRUE PATH. Aameen.
